MINERAL
Diatomite powder and lumps
Diatomite, also known as Diatomaceous Earth (DE), is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock composed of fossilized diatoms. With its high porosity, low density, and excellent adsorption properties, Diatomite is widely used in industrial, agricultural, and filtration applications.
Applications
- Filtration: Used in water purification, beverage filtration (beer, wine, juices), and industrial liquid filtration.
- Agriculture: Acts as a natural pesticide, soil conditioner, and livestock feed additive.
- Industrial Use: Found in paints, coatings, plastics, and rubber for enhanced properties.
- Personal Care: Used in cosmetics, skincare, and toothpaste as a gentle abrasive.
- Construction: Enhances the strength and insulation of cement and bricks.
